I am so very excited to say that this book received a
great review from the class of room 6.
A joyful little girl in the front row could see the pig was
hiding the paints in the hay bail picture.
The class did not think that the pig
would share the paints with the other pets.
On one of the final pages,
there is a Pet Art Museum illustration.
Lots of voices all at once gave a
huge gasp and said “Wow!” Then there were lots
of smaller voices commenting on which picture they
liked best in the Pet Art Museum.
It was better than I could have hoped for.
A big THANK YOU to the teacher in Classroom 6!
She is so clever. The class will spend some time talking
about the book, making art, and practicing their
writing with words from the book.
Great Job!
If you have a story about reading this book to your class,
please feel free to send me a note or pictures of your art.

My new class of ESL Student is enjoying the book now.
We have read it a few times and discussed different
ways that they might paint if they were that pet.

Those were interesting conversations.
"How would the pig hold the brush with only two hooves?"
It was fun to watch the kids try to write with only two
fingers holding the pens.
We came up with lots of fun ideas and it will be fun
to see all the art posted in the library this week.
